FAQ

Before you send your message

First read the FAQ! It is useful for me to get to know a couple of things when you reach out to me. Have you, or has your child already had drum lessons before? Do you have a certain day and time in mind when you would like to schedule a trial lesson? I teach on Mondays through Fridays, and most days have empty timeslots. If you want to send me an email with a question concerning my lessons, be sure to check the Homepage or the FAQ. Information about the location, price, and other practical things can all be found within my website.

Demand and expansion of Drumlessen Amsterdam

I teach from Mondays to Fridays. I do not teach over the weekends. Currently, my inbox and calnder are quite chaotic. It may take a couple of days for me to reply to your request, and it might also take a little longer before a have a spot available for a trial lesson. Drumlessen Amsterdam is a one-person operation, so I try my best to fulfill everyone's wishes as best as I can.
The evening slots (after 6PM) are fully booked at this moment. There may be the occasional spot that opens up, but I cannot guarantee when or if this may happen. I also prefer to not schedule trial lessons in slots that are usually taken on a regular basis, to avoid disappointment when you find out after doing a trial lesson that the spot you took isn't available going forward. To fit the schedule it may also be favorable to plan a 30 minute trial lesson if there is not time to fit a 60 min session.

To deal with the amount of requests, Drumlessen Amsterdam is expanding! Starting summer 2026, Tom Wammes is available to teach drum lessons in Amsterdam west, hosted at rehearsal space Rock Supplies, happening on weekdays in the evenings. Reach out to schedule a trial lesson with Tom!
